ASA is looking for an Operations Manager complimentary to a high functioning Finance team, working closely with the Director of Finance and Administration and Senior Accounting Manager. Under the direct supervision of the Director of Finance the Operations Manager is responsible for processing accounts payable; managing and processing payroll; performing ad-hoc financial analysis; medical and dental receivables management and reconciliation; coordinating the purchasing and tracking of fixed assets and assisting in preparing financial statements.

Core Requirements: 

  • High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or closely related field preferred
  • 3 year's relevant  in payroll administration and fund accounting or relevant experience
  • 3 year's demonstrated experience managing third party payroll databases and/or front and back end payroll in house
  • Strong working knowledge of GAAP compliance, general ledger, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, developing budgets and financial analysis
  • Proven experience with budget preparation and financial planning and reporting
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Experience using financial systems and business reporting tools; Abila MIP highly preferred
  • Experience using payroll systems and reporting tools; ADP or Abila highly preferred
  • Intermediate proficiency with other Microsoft applications (Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Personal transportation is required
